
Memorandum of Understanding
The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is to serve as a written document whereby the industry stakeholders confirm their support of administering and carrying out the provisions of the program as outlined under the “Alberta Trappers’ Compensation Policies and Procedures” document agreed April 21, 1998 and amendments to June 2002. This memorandum will set out the procedural matters of the joint industry groups specifically for the following:

The role of the ATA (as contractor) to administrate the Program

The collection and use of funds for claim payments and administration costs

The administration of the Trust Accounts
