Course Fees

A minimum of 10 persons is required for a one-instructor course. Costs for a one-instructor course are $3,300 and must be collected beforehand. In the event there are less than 10 students and the students still want to attend, the fees will depend upon the total number involved to meet the $3,300 target.

For courses with 11-20 students, the cost is $6,600 for two instructors. Again, fees are collected beforehand. No refunds given should a student register and not attend. Students are required to be present for all aspects of the course.

In addition to the fees that are paid for the course, on the first day of any given course, students require a manual. The manual is $42 and this fee is payable in cash or by cheque. Every student requires a manual, however families attending the course may share a manual.

Testimonials

"Great venue, great instructors and a wonderful family experience for myself and my girls. It was great for both seasoned veterans or beginners."

"Excellent hands on opportunity. Family environment with a no pressure atmosphere for learning. A wonderful experience."

"Tired of wasting time doing nothing on a holiday, then tired again when you get home ? Well not for us. My 12 year old son and I experienced the exact opposite on a recent four day 'hands on' Alberta Trapper Education outing. The wealth of knowledge that we have been exposed to during this time would take a life time to learn on your own. The zeal and excitement that these dedicated 'trapper' teachers have shared and now passed on to these new stewards of Alberta's fur bearers will have a great beneficial effect on the natural resources of our beautiful province of Alberta."
