PAL for non-restricted firearms, which requires the successful completion of the Canadian Firearms Safety Course

The Alberta Trappers’ Association Trapper Education Program provides the Standard Trapping course, which enables you to obtain your trapping licence.

This program is for those that have successfully completed the Standard Trapper Education Course, along with having a current trapping license.

7 Days on a Trapline! The ONLY course of it's kind in Canada. We are proud to offer this here in Alberta. Learn how to manage an RFMA.

THIS COURSE IS AVAILABLE TO YOUTH AGE 13 - 17, offered ONCE A YEAR.
This is the Standard Trapping Course for half the cost to eligible youth.
