Alberta Trappers Rendezvous Videos

Through the years with the Alberta Trappers Rendezvous. Some have gone on to a better place, we are sure grateful to have these memories.

Our annual rendezvous held in Pincher Creek AB There was lots going on and couldn't cover it all. There will be more videos from the rendezvous coming out.

Recently trappers from across Alberta came together in Rocky Mountian House to participate in the 2022 Rendezvous. The event featured trappers showing off a number of their bushcraft skills, while also attending a number of educational seminars.

One of the highlights of each summer is getting to to to the Rendezvous & Outdoorsmen Show. This year it was in Pincher Creek. On July 25-26 I was able to go to the Alberta Trappers' Association Rendezvous in Drayton Valley Alberta. My dad has been a trapper pretty much his entire life and it was a large portion of my life as a young child. I was in charge of planning and executing the children's corner area of this weekend outdoorsman show and rendezvous. It was amazing to see the whole trapping community gather. Every year they hold an Ultimate Trapper Competition which is a series of competitions. In the competition shown in the video above the contestants had to run through the water with a beaver over their backs and the fastest person one this portion of the competition!
